Background

Mayday Hill Consulting was established by Damien in 2014. His initial engagements included a range of projects encompassing plantation inventory on the Tiwi Islands, through to projects with Victorian Government to establish a business case for planned burn funding and to manage a grazing trial within the Alpine National Park. Since that time, he has worked with commercial organisations and governments across Australia, undertaken investigations into health and safety issues, developed operating manuals to encourage best practice, facilitated commercial partnerships through acting as an independent advisor, and supported industry data collection and reporting.

His extensive background in operational forestry has provided him with the capacity to support individuals and businesses in both strategic planning, and solving short term ‘wicked’ problems.
